MARK PABALATE, Scholarship Recipient
Mary Graham Student Scholar, Mark Pabalate, is currently attending his final year at the University of California, Los Angeles, and will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He has contended his way across California into higher education with hope for a brighter future.
To support his education and future goal of a career in social work, he also works part-time as a Behavioral Technician for a mental health organization. Due greatly to the scholarship awards from Mary Graham Children’s Foundation, Mark will graduate from UCLA debt-free.
Mark overcomes barriers foster youth face while advancing his career towards child welfare services! He aspires to attend graduate school for social work and pay forward opportunities for other foster youth who may lack the support they need.
